Assignment title: Information

Try to extract the key ideas from the associated reading. The introduction and conclusion are good places to get an overview of the entire content, and in most cases they will summarise the key ideas/themes presented 2. 2. Make some notes & capture some aspects/themes/key ideas that your reflection would be focused on. Remember that your reflection is a short one, so covering all the details of the original article is not feasible. And the reflection _should_not_be_ a summary of the original article. 3. 3. Support your key reflective ideas/arguments with reasons/evidence. This can arise from other readings (by now you should have a few readings done already, unless you haven't kept up to date with the readings). You may also support the key reflective ideas by personal experience or observations in the workplace. Use the questions provided in the assessment to guide you. 4. 4. By now you should have a plan for your essay. Structure your essay in this form (see the Q manual from BusEco for more details on how to structure a reflective essay): a. Introduction: Introduce the reader to the fact that the essay is a reflection of whatever article you've selected. You may briefly describe the key concepts (especially if they're related to the key reflective ideas). You may also present the key reflection ideas (which you'll detail in the body) and the methodology of reflection perhaps. b. Body: Two/three paragraphs, each containing a key idea supported by reasoning and evidence (references, personal experience, etc.). Do not summarise the original article here, rather critically analyse/reflect on the original article. c. Conclusion: Sums your reflection. The reflective ideas are summarised. (should not be a summary of the article you're reflecting on)
