Dissertation Essay/Ethics:

Research a historical movement between 1860 and 1990 and examine how the evolution of technologies and design practices of that time have influencedcontemporary design today. Compare, contrast and demonstrate the visible influences on design then and now, showing examples visually and referencing journal articles, books and scholarly web sites which support your findings. Your response should take the form of a 1500 word academic essay. Word count to be included. A 10% allowance only on either side of the word count will be accepted. You must include in-text referencing and a reference list (referenced in Harvard style) of at least eight references. Your References must include a minimum of 1 journal article from EBSCO (online journal database) and only 1of your references is allowed to be a website. Ensure font is Arial, 11pt double spaced
